This year marks the 150th birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo and we wish to invoke His presence and His words within our hearts and minds. The entire month of August, we’re observing the anniversary of Sri Aurobindo with an event called ‘Invocation – The Gnostic Festival’. An Invocation to various aspects of Sri Aurobindo – the revolutionary, the poet, the seer, the guide, and most importantly to the future.
The 53-member High Level Committee will include former PMs Manmohan Singh and Deve Gowda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, CMs Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin, actor Rajinikanth, and spiritual leaders Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Baba Ramdev and Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Secratary of Auroville Foundation Jayanti Ravi and Chairman of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Delhi Branch Tara Jauhar.
